How do I find inner peace?

Underlying thoughts of people:

“But I am almost never at peace within myself, on the contrary.”

We try to find peace by using tools and methods to quieten our thoughts. Sport, meditation, yoga or other tools can enable us to move our minds to silence. Nevertheless, even during these exercises, our thoughts are so loud that these remedies do not help us find peace. We fight ourselves internally instead of accepting that we have thoughts, using self-reflection, and continually freeing ourselves.

My experience

During my development process, I also used all methods to calm my thoughts. Meditations, frequencies and Yin yoga, as well as stretching, helped me to continuously move my thoughts into silence. But ultimately it was the inner insight, my self-reflection and the acceptance of letting thoughts be there in order to find myself. It was a process and I had to have a lot of patience to fight this battle, to free myself, and finally to be able to find inner peace.

Do the following

If, despite all the tools and methods, you are constantly in your mind and your thoughts are racing, then make it clear to yourself that you are still fighting against yourself. You don’t accept that you have thoughts, but wage a battle against yourself.

  1. Step: Accept that you have thoughts and let them be there.
  2. Step: Take a lot of time for yourself to reflect on what still has a place in your life and what doesn’t.
  3. Step: Get rid of everything that no longer has a place in your life – little by little – and align your outside world with it.

It’s a process. Be patient with yourself and practice it in every moment. If you continue to believe that unrest determines your life, you will continue to fight against yourself. Be aware that accepting your existence and your thoughts is the first step towards liberation.
