Coming into the here and now

“Now we just have to manage to get into the here and now.”
Our thoughts are so clever that we think we are somewhere else instead of in the here and now. Our mind assumes that our being has to be found somewhere, has to arrive somewhere in order to recognize the present moment. We already exist in the present moment, it is only our thoughts that we pay attention to and that prevent us from our perception.
My experience
The search for myself in my head turned out to be a long, painful and exciting journey. I searched around the world, neither aware of the present moment nor opening myself to the calm and state of the present moment. I didn’t realize I could channel my energy into the present moment, into the peace that lay within it, so I lost myself in my own thoughts. My thoughts wanted to control, they wanted to become someone, wanted to get somewhere instead of recognizing that everything was already there. But over time I realized that we have a certain life energy that we can direct. However, we can only control them once we open up to ourselves and have resolved our subconscious issues. Yin yoga, as well as physical work, frequency healing, writing, meditation and talking to people close to me helped me to detach from my mind.
Do the following
You are already in the present moment. It’s just your energy that you continue to waste in your head wondering how to find yourself in the present moment. Notice where you are, how you feel, how your surroundings affect you. In the perception of the present moment lies the space, the freedom that life gives you. We are humans and humans have thoughts. It’s all about how we deal with these thoughts. Don’t try to control them or hold them anymore. Let thoughts be there, don’t judge yourself for them. Simply perceive them and become aware of the present moment. That’s all you can do to embrace the present moment. It’s very simple. Only the mind is capable of seeing this simple thing in a complex way.
