Meditation simply explained

The meaning of meditation is what we believe about it. Our thoughts shape our truth – even about what meditation should be like. If we think it’s hard to quiet our minds, that we have to do something specific, or that we don’t have time, then we give our energy to those very beliefs. But all of this happens only in our minds. In reality, all it takes is allowing ourselves to simply be – in whatever form – without judgment, without having to do anything.
Meditation helps us calm our minds, focus, and be more present in the moment. We direct our attention to something specific – for example, our breath or our body – and let thoughts and distractions pass by without holding onto them or judging them.
When we regularly let go of our thoughts, we can reduce stress, gain more inner clarity, and connect better with ourselves. There are many different types of meditation, such as breathing meditation or guided meditations. What’s important is that we don’t have to do everything perfectly.

Personal experience:
For a long time, I rejected spirituality, meditations, and everything related to that topic. I believed my life only happened outside of myself. Until I experienced the opposite. Until I realized how good it actually feels to engage with myself, my thoughts, and actions. I tried different methods and meditations, but ultimately, I recognized only one truth in them. It can help us integrate certain practices into our daily life. But the awareness of being in the here and now ultimately convinced me of my final truth about meditation.

Approach:
Be aware that meditation can take place at any moment in your life – right now – while you are reading this sentence. In every moment, you have the opportunity to return to yourself, to notice what is happening around you and within you – in your thoughts, your feelings. You decide where to direct your energy. Because meditation is not bound to a specific place or technique. It is a state of alertness – here, now, in the midst of life.
Come back to this moment. Feel your thoughts, recognize what they do to you, what they make you believe, how they influence your actions and your energy. You alone determine the meaning of meditation for you. It doesn’t matter if you sit, walk, lie down, or move – as long as you are alert to yourself and your world. Allow each moment to be a meditative state. Fill it with awareness, clarity, and dedication. Enjoy it in its full depth.
