Gut and psyche
Underlying thoughts of people:
“I have now found out that the cause of my heart anxiety is not psychological at all, but rather an allergy. My symptoms arise from eating grains. Especially through wheat… ( ) … That’s why all mental efforts fail. Maybe you’ll mention that in your video.”
Physical sensitivities, such as heart palpitations, do not arise exclusively from your own thoughts. Our gut and what we eat also influences how we feel. Which ultimately influences our thinking. Our gut is part of our body, closely linked to our brain. Depending on what food we eat, which microbiome we have will influence our feelings and thoughts. As a result, consuming supplements and other foods, such as wheat or sugar, can disrupt our positive feelings. The result is palpitations, sluggishness, fatigue, allergies and mental psychoses. Consequently, it is important to listen to our bodies. Before and after eating, reflect on what brings us well-being and energy and what promotes allergies, water retention or sluggishness.
My experience
I also continually test which foods make me feel good and which make me tired and sluggish. It is a process of finding out what is good for your body and what is not. Foods like wheat products, meat and sugar cause me to have an upset stomach, sluggishness, mental and depressive moods, and water retention. A healthy and balanced diet with legumes, oatmeal, a variety of vegetables, berries and dates gives me well-being, energy and an active and healthy lifestyle. I only drink water, tea, espresso, matcha or cappuccino. But in order to reach this realization, I had to perceive myself over a longer period of time and find out what serves my body.
Do the following
If you are aware of the present moment, it may be that not only your thoughts, but also your environment and your food intake are affecting you. This can promote many symptoms and lead to a racing heart. From now on, decide what you eat and what is good for your body. You are responsible for how you feel. And you can decide how you should feel from now on, how you think and behave. Avoid sugar and sugary drinks as much as possible. Reduce your consumption of meat and other foods that are harmful to you. Find your balance. Because this is the only way you will achieve well-being and get rid of physical problems.
Go within yourself and ask yourself the following questions:
- How do I feel before a meal: Will the food be good for my body?
- How am I feeling after the meal?
- Do I feel tired and sluggish, or does the meal make me feel good?
